Mixtape — Skateboarding Guide

Mixtape isn't Tony Hawk, but its skateboarding traversal has more depth than the trailers suggest. Here's every move, every input and the tips that matter.

Every trick

Five tips most players miss

  1. Hold jump for height. Tap = short hop; hold ~0.4s for full ollie. Required for Ch.1 hidden-tape fence.
  2. Manual through dialogue. Light-traffic dialogue triggers don't break the manual — chain them for the Skateboard Master achievement.
  3. Brake before grinds. Approaching a rail above grind speed bails the trick. Tap brake once.
  4. Ch.11 has 3 lines. The long traversal has a left, middle and right path. Each hides one tape; you must replay to grab them all.
  5. Crashing skips cutscenes. If a transition cutscene loads after a long skate, holding L2/LT during the bail can skip the loading-mask animation.
